Definitely a place to go if you like japanese hot springs! Surrounded by a beautiful area. The restaurant serves really delicious dishes. You should try the deer sausage which is a speciality in Tabayama. It‘s a bit sad that there is no hotel in the spa or nearby.
Nice little onsen. Alternates (daily) for men and women between a Japanese and Roman baths (really they are both Japanese, but one has a room with a mosaic ceiling and a stone fountain in the outside bath making this 'Roman'). Always busy (but not crowded). Has a tatami room and massage chairs for relaxing after, and a small restaurant selling soba and a few fried items.

雲取山日帰り登山のあとに入浴。 祝日の15時過ぎに訪問。コロナの影響か、空いている。 東京の入浴施設でこんなに空いてるところはなく、またコロナ対策をここまで徹底しているところもないだろう。入浴者の情報登録、洗い場の間引き(1個おきに利用可能)、タオル貸出中止(購入のみ)、サウナ人数制限(1段目利用不可、3人まで)、飲料の瓶での販売中止など。近くの飲食店でも椅子を減らすなど工夫している。やはり田舎の方がコロナに対する風評被害のインパクトが大きいので警戒している様子。都内の感覚に慣れていると、ここまでやるのかとも思ってしまうが、最大限の警戒をしている様子。 サウナは90、水風呂22。外に長椅子3つ。水風呂はぬるいが、外で丹波山の穏やかな感じながら横になると、心が整う。 シャワーが3秒で止まることと、サウナマットがないこと以外は大変気持ち良い温泉でした。
