I'm so lucky to spend one night of my stay in Kyoto being in this truly precious night! Maiko-san named Toshinagi-san was so cute and charming. It was so exciting to talk and play games with her. You can be very knowledgeable about the history of Maiko culture. The food was an excellent quality of Japanese set menu Kaiseki and the sake was all good. The amount of the food was enough for a man. Those everything was highly integrated with a Kyoto City certified English speaking guide, which enabled us to immerse in the historical Kyoto world. Highly recommended.

Very disappointed with the food. Food was cold as in lunch box style. The show with dinner cost 18,000 yen but serve us cold lunch box?! We were extremely shock with such bad food!! The Maiko show was good, but it was false advertisement. The title of the show was "Koan Hanare Mesmerizing Dining with Maiko & Geisha". You will think the show will have geisha as well, but NO! The show is only with Maiko. We also found out the Maiko actually perform at Hotel Granbell as well which hotel only charge 5000 yen vs this restaurant charges 18,000 yen! Don't book this place with dinner. Dinner sucks!

As a Japanese, I have only seen Maiko-san on the streets of Kyoto (which is already quite rare), but here, you can not only see their dance but also play games and ask questions to real Maiko-san and it’s amazing - Because you can’t usually go to places where you can experience unless you are invited and it’s quite expensive. Talking to Maiko-san and getting to know the background and their daily life was very interesting. Knowing the games they play and you get chance to actually play with them and their dance is beautiful! They have a MC who can interpret the whole thing so no worries if you don’t understand Japanese! (If you could understand Japanese, it’s also lovely to hear Maiko-san’s perfect Kyoto dialect) Food was okay but the experience was superb!

It was the first time for me to have such a long conversation with Maiko san and I really enjoyed it. I think it is the opportunity that we can’t easily have so I want many people including my friends to know about this show. Having nice dinner, watching the nice show, and talking with very pretty and nice Maiko san is going to be absolutely fun time. I think everyone will enjoy it.

A maiko named Fukuna was so cute that she showed me a wonderful dance. She answered my many questions.I enjoyed learning about traditional maiko culture. The room has tatami mats and painted-wall, and I could taste the Japanese style. I could drink as much as I wanted, and the Japanese food was very delicious. I'm really happy to receive a sticker with the name of the maiko named Senjafuda as a souvenir.Thank you for the wonderful experience.

It was such a wonderful experience meeting the Maiko-san! She (Kanaemi) was so beautyful and skillful in everything she did. Plus we didn’t only see her and got Sake served, but we actually interacted with Kanaemi. We played a game together and we were allowed to ask her anything we wanted. Plus: You don’t have to speak Japanese! There is an interpreter who translates everything for you so you can understand whatever Maiko-san says. I especially liked the dance performances Kanaemi did (one was in darkness with only candlelight on). That was such a magical moment! During the evening you’ll learn much about Maiko-san, their peraonal lives, their job and Japanese culture concerning Maiko-san. In the end you can take a photo with Maiko-san, which makes everything even better and you’ll get a really kawaii sticker of Maiko-san with her name on it, which will remind you of this wonderful evening forever. The food and drinks you get served during the experience are of high quality an really tasty! Coming here to meeting Maiko-san is definitely a unique experience!

Private time with Maiko san We had a good time with Maiko san (Geisha apprentice). We booked privately, so we had enough time to ask her so many questions and had conversation with her. This place is not located in flower town, geisha district so if you want to feel the atmosphere, you can go geisha district in advance then you can come here.
