Simply the best! I would stay there over a luxury hotel any time. Exceptional service: they put a lovely, complimentary dessert made of local ingredients every day while we were out. We also had beautiful hibiscus flowers decorating our small, charming room. The basic room includes a fridge, microwave oven, toilet, shower, bath and air conditioner. The oven and fridge are very welcome since supermarkets are relatively few and far between, and close somewhat early. The couple running the inn can also recommend guides and activities based on your schedule and season, so please give them a ring if you are planning a trip to Yakushima.

We booked *海を*満天の星を*專用露天風呂付*ドリンク&デザート* stayed on my birthday day at the newly built cottage in 40 meter square (house 10疊 loft 4疊 balcony 10疊 private open-air hot spring tub）. Our balcony got a really nice sea view with a hot spring tub and tea area for night view ️. Check in from 4-7pm, check out 9am, dinner and breakfast are not included but there’s a kitchen in house for you to make a simple meals, we may parking outside the cottage. The owners are a friendly couples, they served us with their home made citrus juice and guava dessert, also provided us many important information and advice on weather status about our hiking trail with their best English. Unfortunately, the weather status was not good enough for us to visit the forest and Jomon Sugi as mountain road suspended this few days due to heavy rains that too dangerous for hiking. By the way, we recommended ‘Yakushima Cottage Mori-no Fairy\u200d️’ to everyone would like to have a special and relaxing villa stay when you visit Yakushima in the near future. Let’s plan my next trip! Yeah!
This place has a nice view overlooking the sea. The ladies who manage this place welcome us with a glass of Tankan orange juice, Yakushima specialty. They try to help us arrange the travel and hiking plan in Yakushima. After we came back from hiking at Shiratani Unsuikyo, we were surprised to find the orange jelly in the fridge made by the owners. The jelly were delicious, it could helps us relief the tiredness from hiking. This place might be hard to access without a car rental but we manage to get to it using the local bus. Also, there are a restaurant nearby, but it was closed during our stay. Since it was a bit far away from Anbo, the nearest town. You'd better stock up the food and drink at convenience stores in Kagoshima, Miyanoura, or Anbo before coming here.

Very friendly hosts who provided much information about the island in English. I stayed in cottage 3, which is roomy and clean. Highly recommended.
Very nice house & host! Have its own little kitchen for simple cooking, choose it if u need.
