Many parts of this very interesting museum are not very accessible, because it is within a preserved house. To see it all, you should be able to climb steep stairs (or a ladder).

I love this old super well preserved great house since the edo period! You have the chance to understand Hida no takumi Craftmanship (The mighty carpenters of this region) and to see a real traditional japanese house during that period! The wood the light the colors are unique. It is a must see! Higly recommended
Wonderful place where you can see how rich people lived in this region in old days. We loved the exibitions and architecture very much! Allow 40 minutes - 1.5 hours for this house.There is also a nice place inside where you may have a rest drinking tea (free).
For me its really a very comfortable and Nice place
I went on February,2019 This place (Kasukabe Folk Crafts Museum)’s great for visit. You can learn about Japanese housing and living.
