Food here is amazing, would highly recommend trying the grilled octopus and squid! Super delicious and worth the price. Definitely would come back for more whenever I’m in Kyoto.

Always love to drink in Japan. So many kinds of small appetizers along with their special Shochu. Customers are allowed to smoke inside.

Yalo toro and Tamago are so delicious here, you have to give it a try, customer service is excellent too, foreigner friendly with English menu.

Look for “串八” signage at the road side and follow the stairs down to B1F, you will probably find yourself in a queue. Before queuing please proceed into the restaurant and write down your name in the waiting list. The wait is worth it. All dishes in the menu are amazing, the staffs are friendly and speaks English! A must visit if you happen to be in Kyoto town!

One of the best meals me and my partner had in Kyoto. Completely came across it by accident after asking some locals coming out while trying to find some late night dining. Would definitely recommend the fried shrimp, some of the best food I have ever had. The staff as well are amazing, so friendly and attentive with a full English menu.
