2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣9️⃣0️⃣8️⃣0️⃣3️⃣ Pretty awesome view of the lake next to a volcano. Such a scenic view. I was told that the island in the middle literally is a column stretching down to the lake floor. It would be awesome if someone actually been down there and took a photo. Must be magical ... well at least in the way I am imagining it. Appreciate if you leave a LIKE if you find my comment useful. Thank you for your support.

Noticed that others say there is parking fee. I went in November 2019 and there was no parking fee required. Perhaps it was off season. So if you come during the Fall and Spring months, you might not need to pay. The views here of Lake Mashu is incredible. I was lucky to have sunny skies. However the winds were extremely strong. There is a gift shop to keep warm.

Great place to visit during sunset in winter. Excellent views of the lake as well as the surrounding mountains. Highly recommended

Great place to visit, if the weather allows. Beautiful views and a nice 3-hour walk (through bear territory, apparently), which we couldn't complete as the weather was turning and the sun was setting (first half hour was beautiful though). Also available, a gift shop, bathrooms and something to eat.
