Good place to take you kids. We go every year and the my kids are 9 and 7 and both love the illumination. The best thing is to go for the illumination. You will probably done in an hour and a half if you walk around while eating at the food stands. For adults it is 1000 yen and 700 yen for kids. We wanted to check out the Pokemon illumination, so we paid another 700 yen per person for the lift. This will take you up the hill and you can enjoy some Pikachu lighting. This place is kind of in the sticks, so if you can drive there. But they have public buses that come around as well. TIPS: - Parking is 1000 yen - The hot spring is great, which is located near the parking lot - If you show your parking ticket you can get 1000 yen off when you go to the hot spring - Try out the food trucks, they have, pricey, but good food

theme park about pokemon, in the mountains. good place for a family walk in some parts the walking tour is challenging, the skirt of the hill is very high but the view is beautiful

The place is more friendly for elder kids. Wasnt too much to do for toddlers the only way to go to the ferris wheel and all the pokemon part is through the chair lift that doesn't stop and is kinda high the fall for small kids that are still in age that don't listen/understand, it has some obstacles/ninja-ish playground inside souvenir store of pokemon and other stuff, dogs allow in the park.

Great place .. try to take full day pass as there are many activities. Fun for kids. Illumination in winter is great. Check bus timings as less frequency.
