Very simple lodge walking distance to the mountain. They are good communicators and are very friendly and kind. Best way to get there is to take a bus from the New Chitose Airport. Book this at least a week in advance to get the time you want. It takes 90 minutes to get there in good weather. They will drop you off at the resort at the mountain. The Lodge will arrange for a ride to pick you up. All very easy. You can arrange a breakfast one day in advance. It’s a great breakfast for a good price. As long as you don’t mind a simple, clean place - Lodge Romulus is an excellent choice.

My fiance and I stayed here December/January 2018/2019. We absolutely loved this place. Our room was comfortable and clean and the hosts were super helpful. Like the other reviewer mentioned, we took a bus from our hotel in Sapporo to the resort at Rusutsu. We were then picked up by Romulus' super nice shuttle driver. The lodge is within walking distance to the resort. On the walk you pass by a restaurant called Pirate Mans. Definitely recommend that place. Delicious homemade food. Another bonus is that they have super cute ponies in the front yard!
I can highly recommend Romulus family-run hotel, absolutely lovely place, comfortable, with really friendly people running it and the nearby restaurant the Pirateman. Definitely a place we want to come to back again and again.
A nice place to stay. Within walking distance to the ski resort but the owner will try to have someone drive you anyways. The staff was really nice and the rooms were very clean and nice as well.

立地と値段で考えたらいいと思います。 オーナーの奥さんは気さくで良かったです。またチェックアウト時に応対して下さった外国人の女性は日本語が半端なく上手でした。 外観はオシャレです。白いロバがいました。 ただ、部屋にカメムシとてんとう虫が大量に現れるます。ガムテープが常備されていたので、カメムシをくっつけて外に逃がしてしばらくするとまた現れるの繰り返しでした。なので星１つ減で。
部屋が広くてあずましいです
仕事で泊まりました。建物は古いですが部屋の中はリフォーム済みで綺麗です。優しそうなお姉さんがお出迎えしてくれます。今は冬ですが夏にもプライベートで来てみたいな。
