This lodge is very nice. Big rooms, a lot of light, very good location. There are plenty restaurants and shops around. Walking distance to Hikage Yu line. The owner does not speak well English but he tried hard. Rental stores are not far from hotel. Right next door is Public Onsen at second floor. Big one. So very convenient. The rent of room in hotel is average compare to other hotels in same location. We are happy with our choice to stay here.

Reasonable price and close to the mountain. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. One modern toilet and communal bathhouse. Onsen next door also.

Pretty good place for the price. Nice warm onsen and good location. Owners seemed a little disinterested. The bedding wasn't the best. No heater in the dry room so gear was wet. Also dry room is separated from the main building.

Pretty cheap option compared to what you found in Nozawaonsen, the rooms have no bathroom only toilet so you can go to the public onsen found all around the city or to the onsen on the F1 if the building (has time restriction). They rent equipment for skiing as well so its a farely cheap and well rounded option.

Excellent location. 5-10 mins walk to Hikage gondola via the moving walkway. 2 mins main Street with plenty of shops and restaurants.

Located in the center of the town near all the restaurants and public onsen. Room is spacious and you have a basin and toilet in the room. But amenities and facilities are very old and the pillows are stained and yellowish. There was no wifi signal as our room is located on the 4th floor and at the end of the corridor. The reception area is always vacant and hard to seek assistance. During check-in there was no one at the reception table. We called their hotline and waited for 5 minutes for the host to arrive. No lift - Try to request for level 2 if you are travelling with your own ski equipment. As its a Lodge all the guests have to use a common bathroom. However he did not inform us where is the bathroom and the opening hours. Also do note that the check out time is 10am and you can store your luggage in the ground floor room.

This is lodge, not a hotel that will have a bathroom in western style. The bathroom will be a sentou style (Japanese style), so you must share a bathroom with many guest and other guest who use the bathroom will see you naked. Then the room is also in Japanese style, you'really sleep above tatami with futon covered with linen. Bed which called futon are very comfortable and warm. The toilet are using bidet, so you can feel warm when you're using the toilet. And the important thing is they have ski equipment rental, the price also one of the cheapest in Nozawaonsen. One thing to be noted are the the check in time is above 2.00 p.m., if you arrive before 2.00 p.m., you can use a room with a kotatsu in it to keep your bag so you can go to the ski resort or travelling around Nozawaonsen. Pros: There are kotatsu to make you warm when you're cold in the winter season at a room in front of reception desk and the staff very friendly that gave us some onsen kit and when we rental the equipment at might be 2.30 p.m. 3.00 p.m. he bring us to the resort ski with his car and recommended what kind of ticket should we bought. Cons: The staff didn't talk English very fluent, luckily one of my friend can speak Japanese.
