Beautiful red trees at the river side in the beginning of November. The place has bbq lots, a playground and a walking trails in the forest. Unfortunately it's close before sunset at 4 pm.

A great place to take the children to build wood crafts. (Bird House, book stand, log airplane, log bears. Etc.) Inexpensive usually costing less than 1000. tools along with instructions are available. Enjoy nature with hiking or camping nearby.
園内の紅葉が綺麗に紅葉していました。 4号線から分かれてさくらの広場に車を停めて吊り橋を渡っていく道と、ひめゆり駐車場の奥から木の家の脇まで車で行ける道があります。
300円で木工体験ができます。置物や本棚など選べます。指導員さんが教えてくれます。 コロナだからなのか窓を開け放っているので、アブなどと戦いながらの製作になります。 指導員さん曰く、足などに止まってから叩くのが良いそうですが、子どもはハエたたきで戦っていました。 残念ながら日本一の滑り台は修理中だそうで利用できませんでした。
