I love this pass. It took me around 1.5 hour for one way. Nice trees and waterfalls. You will love it. Remember to bring enough water.

Love this trail. There are clear signs with English to mark the path the entire way. Free parking at both ends. Highly recommend the direction Magome TO Tsumago. Bathrooms all along the trail. I would rate this 4 out of 10 difficulty. It’s mostly flat with a few slopes throughout. Uneven path at points so you may want ankle support but it’s not necessary. Easy to complete within three hours maximum at a slow pace.

Well worth doing. Stayed and travelled by train and bus from Nagoya in the morning. Then went to Osaka that evening after. Loads of toilets on route.

Excellent walking trail. I met great people as I was walking along the path and became friends with them. Such a nice place.

Nice trail. Goes from Tsumago to Magome, or the other way around. Both routes are ok, from Tsumago to Magome the climb is longer but less steep. If you're coming from Magome don't miss the waterfalls, but also don't miss the view from the top (the alternative routes, that are clearly marked). Best is to walk a bit back after you've chosen or the other. Lots of toilets along the way.
