Fantastic place to learn how to dance to Latin music on Okinawa. Parking can be difficult, but I usually park on the side of the GEO across the street and I haven’t had any issues in the many times I’ve attended lessons. Classes are at the end of the day, and are offered on most week nights. They teach salsa, bachata, and kizomba. You can pay for one class, get a punch card for 5, or unlimited classes for a month. I recommend that you come at the beginning of the month because they teach in cycles and get more difficult as the class progresses and start at basics again at the beginning of the next month. It’s a one room studio with mirrors to help you view yourself dance, has two changing rooms as well. You have to take off outdoor shoes at the door, and you can dance in your socks, but dance shoes are a plus if you can find a cheap pair. The teacher is very thorough and explains how each move is made. Questions are always welcome and can be explained to your understanding. Since the Latin music scene is growing on Okinawa, it’s a great way to spend your time, learn something new and meet amazing people. I hope to see you on the dance floor!
