MARS COSMO This is a FANTASTIC WHISKY so smooth and intense and i should say “delicate”. And the name is really perfect! After a couple of tasty sips the COSMIC scope of this wonderful whisky begins to make its way!!! (I am sorry for real experts... but i keep my whiskies in the freezer and I like to drink them cold with that beautiful oily consistency that cold gives to alcohol….)

ガロでソースカツ丼食べた帰りに見つけた本坊酒造マルス信州蒸留所に寄りましたよ。 キレイです新しい感じの蒸留所ですが創立35年で2020の9月にリニューアルしたそうです。 現在工場見学は無料のウイスキー蒸留がセルフで見れるだけ。コロナの影響だそうです。 サントリー白州蒸留所とは規模が違い過ぎてすごくこじんまりした感じです。白州をイメージして行くとえ！ってなるかな。こちらにはこちらの良さもあるかもしれませんが蒸留所見学なら白州の方がいいかも。 試飲はなく、すべて有料。ビジター棟という受付、ショップ、バーがある所で薪ストーブにあたりながらウイスキーや南信州ビールが楽しめます。ウイスキーの樽で珈琲豆を熟成させたというマルスバレルドエイジングブレンドを飲みました。珈琲にウイスキーの香りが移っていて芳香な味わいでした。
