This place is awesome. I work near here, and get things often. It's worth the high price. Amazing stuff. Tonight I bought the fig bread, brought it home, and had it with blue cheese. This bakery is prolonging my life in Japan.

The sandwiches are interesting and creative. For example the camembert and ham sandwiches are excellent. The bread is of a consistently high quality as well. It gets very busy at lunchtime and service can be a bit on the slow side but all in all an excellent place to buy lunch.
As good as in France, but with the Japanese touch. Awesome!
French bakery hidden gem in Komaba. A must if you love French style bread. A little expensive as every bakery in Tokyo.
A French-style boulangerie with some of the best pastries that I've had outside of France. I had a raspberry chocolate croissant, and a sausage and potato tartine, and while the flavor combinations were outside of the norm, the pastries seemed otherwise quite authentic (and I've lived in France). It is easy to miss, but as soon as you enter, you should pick up a tray and a pair of tongs and then you can select the pastries that you'd like and they will ring you up at the cashier. When I went, there was a small line of locals, and people constantly coming in, so it seems quite popular and I can see why! Will definitely be coming back.
