冬に訪問時は一見ただの枯れ林に見えるが、実は日本各地の花が美しい木を集めて植えている樹木園だ。 さっそく2月初旬にも関わらず木蓮の蚕の繭のようなふわふわとした新芽を見ることが出来た。 多くの種類が少しずつ植林されており、訪問の都度、違う花を咲かせて来園者を楽しませてくれるだろう。
