The staff here were super friendly and helpful. Though they could hardly speak English, they tried hard to answer your question. A lot of self-help facilities: self-service laundry, lounge (with self-served coffee), massage chairs etc. The hotel was close to Mihara JR station, with myriad of groceries, restaurants around. Most impressive were the FREE breakfast buffet and FREE curry rice buffet at night. Extreme value-for-money ratio. One more thing, my room offered a spectacular river view. If you care for one , ask the receptionist for the row of rooms facing the river, preferably on upper floors. If I were to come to Hiroshima again, I would definitely book this hotel, again.

Hotel is small, comfortable with a well managed and helpful staff. There is a free set breakfast nd dinner service. Staff have rudimentary English skills. Having Google Translate or similar app is helpful. I recommend this hotel for the budget minded traveler.
only public bath for men. Strange stuff! But complementary dinner, breakfast, even cake to go for lunch. So all in all good value, but I'm still bothered that only men can use the public bath. Very uncommon for Japan. They could also install different timings for men and women, just so every guest can use the facilities.
Our non-smoking room smelled like smoke. The room was quite small. Window opens to a great view. Second floor hangout room was very interesting and had very comfortable seats.
