This hotel has whatever it takes to make a wonderful trip of good memories. The rooms are spacious, clean with the best views of Mt. Fuji. Plus the most friendly staff, good amenities and advanced equipments, there is no doubt that this is definitely one of the best choices when you are considering an overnight stay next to the Lake.

To start it off, note that the villas are located in a side lane off the main road, so do be careful when looking for it, it is easy to miss even with a gps. As of 7/6/17, the turn should come before or after an old looking apartment which appears set for reconstruction, and the side lane is located across the road from a Y konbini. The accommodation has an absolutely wonderful view. The garden is full of flowers and overlooks the lake. On a clear day, you should be able to see Mt Fuji from the garden. In summer, they provide a complete BBQ set, which they will start for you. However, you will have to cook the food yourself. It was a good experience making my own yakisoba. The portions were massive and the ingredients were fresh. The area itself looks like it is under redevelopment, with more villa-like buildings being constructed. The area may be much more bustling in time to come. There is a konbini located just a few minutes from this place by foot, and a short drive from most of the sightseeing places of Kawaguchiko including the Musical forest museum. There is even a park right by the villas.

I booked this place due to the location and the BBQ dinner. Come to find out after we booked and paid for dinner that same day booking are not allowed if you want dinner. Apparently 6 hours is not enough time to prepare dinner. So that created a problem for us as there are absolutely no good restaurants in the area. And in the evenings the buses stop coming by so the only way to get something to eat was a 4000 taxi ride to the more populated part of the lake. Then the rooms, oh my, they are old, smelly and just awful. The only reason this place gets 2 stars is because of the view of the mountain over the lake. And did I mention trying to converse in English? Not a chance, so practice your best hand gestures. WARNING to those that don't speak Japanese and want something better than a rundown cheap apartment. Complete waste of money.
