A beautiful lake and wonderful hosts. I left my passport after Take san was so kind as to drive us to the train station. He drove home and to the next train station on icy roads to get it to me as we were leaving Hokkaido that day from an airport several hours away. Incredible. Masako san made fantastic meals for with six kinds of homemade jams and wonderful fish. Both of them speak English and Take san’s English is excellent! If you want an amazing experience in Hokkaido, this is the place. Not fancy, but very homey.

フレンドリーでいろいろな鳥の情報を教えてくれる宿のご主人がナイス。家族でお世話になりました。手作りジャムや野菜のサラダが絶品。
Abbiamo soggiornato per due notti in questo splendido ostello, i gestori sono persone davvero gentili e preparate, pasti sempre abbondanti e tradizionali, una meta sicura per birdwatchers alla ricerca di un tetto. I gestori sono anche in grado di guidare qualche escursione nei dintorni per osservare la grande varietà di specie.
民宿主人很友善，晚餐時，用心介紹食物。早餐的水果醬很新鮮，是屋主handmade，水果是他在花園種的。 我們很想見到丹頂鶴，他花了很多時間講解有關丹頂鶴的知識給我們知道，客廳還擺放大量雀鳥書籍，相信他是個專家。
