We loved staying with you. Your place is so lovely and within such a terrific place to explore. You were so thoughtful with offering pick ups and deliveries to the station and the ferry... you were a wonderful host. Our trip to the Into islands was so great..... Thanks for the suggestion. Nice place and Taka is a wonderful host If you want to experience the rural and calm side of Japan this is an option where you wanna go. Kajak, surfing and swimming in the ocean are possible activities. Taka recommends several trips to the many islands surround but we didn't have much time. If you're traveling with JR pass, he might even manage to pick you up from a nearby station (Tagajo). But with respect to sights there is not much. There are also no shops close to this place.

we just returned to US from our two-weeks in japan with backpacks, airbnbs and japan rail pass... taka’s place was the most authentic experience we had! calm, peaceful and relaxing; and a fantastic break from the hustle and bustle of the cities. he was kind to provide transportation to and from the local train station and stopped to let us shop for groceries on the way to his home. wonderful host in an artistic home in a quiet serene town. also, we recommend eating the scrumptious bar-b-q on the rooftop of sea-saw restaurant, as taka suggested...it is the ending to a perfect day at the beach and he can help you make reservations for the event. our weekend there was the highlight of our journey!! will return and stay longer next time.. big shoutout to taka!!!

Decent place. Nice and traditional. Quiet. Not very close to the beach but close enough to enjoy the walk or drive. Nice place. Owner is nice and polite also.
