The biggest Montblanc store in Tokyo. An amazing selection of pens, paper, leather products, and they even have an ink salon to try different shades of ink. The folks are really nice, too and most speak English. I want to get one of their watches!! Next trip.

部屋の整理をしていて、30年程前に父からもらったモンブランの万年筆を発見。大学時代には、レポートや試験、バイトの原稿書きの際に使っていたのだが、キャップがバカになってしまったのと、ペン先が割れてしまい使用をあきらめたのを思い出した。 年代物なので、修理は効かないかもしれないがと思いつつ、持参するとキャップの修理は可能で、しかもペン先の不具合も修理可能とのこと。 また、その際にはチェックシートで私の書き癖やペンの持ち方を記録してそれに合わせて調整してくれるという。もちろん修理を頼むと、受領すると以前よりもずっと良い書き味になって戻ってきた。 素晴らしい仕事に大変満足したので、現在使っているマイスターシュテュックのプラチナもメンテに出したが、こちらも私に書き癖に合った調整がされ、非常に素晴らしい書き味になって戻ってきた。 仕事はパソコンでするが、その下書きやアイディアだしの際には大量の文章を書くので、非常に嬉しい。 字を書くこと自体が快感になる筆記具というのはそうはない。仕事がさらに愉しくなり、感謝しかない。 また、対応してくれたスタッフの近藤様の接客は非常に丁寧かつ適切な距離感で、プロの仕事だとこちらにも感動した。 近藤様、ありがとうございました。
