They were so helpful!!! I'm moving and have really little time before I need to be out and it's been really overwhelming. So going to City Hall I knew I'd need to fill out the moving out Form, cancel insurance, and I don't have a job anymore. But the were so helpful! ️ The man at the desk gave me the Form and explained it. I managed to understand everything, but I was taking a while writing out the addresses bc I wanted to have proper Kanji etc. My Japanese is awful and he noticed I was taking a while so he ushered me back to the desk and helped me fill it out! It wasn't until explaining the pension (that I can just change address at new city hall) that I was having trouble understanding. They were super nice and found a great translator! We seemed to be on the same page and basically I was ready to go in less than an hour! It was such a relief.

The City Hall is usually busy. Be careful about the open hours, as it is only open during the daytime on weekdays. Navigating the city hall is doable because there are signs in English for the functions of each counter. The floor guide is also in both Japanese and English. There was no number waiting system when I went. The city hall employees are courteous, but have a no nonsense vibe. If you have a question you may have to press to get answers. I had an experience when they didn't answer my question and told me to come again to ask. It was a little frustrating not getting an answer after taking time out of the day to visit the City Hall. I had better luck at the information window. The information guide answered my question. So if you have an experience where you cannot get the information you need, try asking again at the Information window.

駐車場に直ぐ入れた。対応のタイミングも気分良く出来、新年早々ラッキーです。
あちこちの役場に行きますが、窓口対応が全体的に残念。建物の古さのせいですかね。見直しませんかその対応。
駐車場が市役所の裏手にあるのですが、結構混雑します。盛岡城址公園の地下駐車場に停めると市役所で無料券をもらえます。正面左側入口から入ると総合案内があります。こちらで用件を話すと対応の窓口を教えてもらえて便利です。
お役所仕事。 市役所で気持ち良い対応とか そんなものは求めても裏切られるだけ。
生活福祉課に関口って人態度も口悪すぎ！ 謝罪の言葉もない！何様だよ！ ましてや、公務員で、市の職員が！
