Quite easy access from the ropeway, and a very nice view, from almost 3000m. There is a place for trekking tents, and a shelter nearby with toilets and water. Water is cut at night, except for the toilets. The camp site is very windy so it's pretty cold, you will need a very warm sleeping bag and clothes.

The view on top of the mountain is breathtaking and stars are visible at night. I was lucky to witness shooting stars. I don't really recommend beginner without any hiking skills and equipment especially hiking boots to hike. There's a camping site and it costs 1000yen per person per night to set up a tent there. The toilet on the mountain cost 200yen per entry but if you've paid 1000yen for the camping site, the toilet will be free of charge after 5pm. The water in the toilet is also drinkable. The shop at the camping site sells food, beverage and hot water.
