This was the most fun I’ve had on the entire island. They have amazingly delicious warm meat buns, beautiful lanterns to take pictures with, a cool gift shop, stilts you can walk on, you can play ring toss. They have live entertainment (when I went it was these really funny dudes juggling) and everyone is so nice! You really should check this place out. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes though so you can walk around and enjoy everything there is.

Such a great outing for the family. Nice beautiful walk, traditional Japanese buildings, parking is across the road. And you can pay yen or card
A tourist trap but hey a fun one! The most annoying part was paying the 600 to get in and then to figure out that the buildings were their own art studio that you could various art for a fee. Fees varied and were a fair price. If you decided to go, ensure you're willing to drop more money to do an art project! There are items for sale on each studio as well. The place where you get food has paint your shisas for a cheaper price if you already own your own paint. The screen printing is super fun and has a photographer studio where you can dress up in traditional Okinawa clothes. 600 entrance fee. Free parking across the street. A map is provided in English. Bring yen, it varied studio to studio on who took yen and credit card.
It’s really amazing place! We love here. November 28, 2020 we are here.
Great place to feel like you are living in a beautiful japanese village. Lanterns festivals during christmas and new year holiday. You feel like you went back in time to living in this era. Love this place.
Fantastic experience at the lantern festival! It would be a fun place to go all day to do all the activities as well.
Cute little village setting, most of the buildings are arts and crafts shops and some have quiet a bit of damage to them (broken walls and windows). Was completely empty when I went so was pretty relaxing, was told there are lantern festivals here that are actually quite stunning so might have to update my review and the pictures when I get a chance to visit during one of those. Be forewarned this is surrounded by farmland and has the distinct strong manure smell depending on the season.
Not a theme park with rides but it is a themed park with a nice collection of old local architectural designs and decorations. There were farm animals you could feed and horse rides were a paid attraction. The lantern displays made by the locals were intricate and beautiful. There's a pretty well priced buffet at the entrance where I enjoyed the all you can eat pork knuckles made in the local flavour. This place is good for families with young children where they can participate in the arts and crafts activities. I didn't need to spend all day here, but if you were just coming here for a stroll then 2 hours should be enough to explore.
