This is one of the best natural hot springs/day spa in Fukuoka. They provide a convenient free shuttle from the Hakata station frequently. Their various indoor and gorgeous outdoor hot springs tubs are nicely nested in such an inviting natural setting. The restaurant offers vast selection of menu and the quality and taste will make even the pickiest foodies smile. Their spa service prices are very reasonable too. If you are in Fukuoka, this establish provides a splendid day spa experience.

So cool and relaxing place. Not that far from the city. If you love onsen can’t miss this place. They got various baths. Both public and Private. Quit reasonable price and all the staffs are helpful even for the foreigners. Better make a reservation before you go. Highly recommended
This 15 year old onsen is quite remote from Hakata station. However there is a shuttle bus picking and dropping on timetable. You’ve got to be at the but station a bit earlier than scheduled time. Otherwise you might miss the bus and wait for another one or two hours because of a long line of people. Once you get there you’ll see the secluded and traditional-Japanese style of onsen. There are variety of open-air baths with lovely garden. It was a rainy day when I got there. I could never forget the beautiful scenery while I was taking a bath. If you want to have an experience of taking a traditional Japanese style of bath at a reasonable price this is the place.
This is probably the most traditional looking hot spring center I've ever been to. It has a nice traditional Japanese inn feel, but it has all the bells and whistles of an onsen center, such as saunas, multiple baths inside and outside, cold water baths, electric baths, and what not. Absolutely amazing place. Great place if you need to get away for the day and relax.
I caught the 2pm shuttle from hakata station (west exit 9) and it arrived and left right on the dot. When you get out of the exit the waiting area for the shuttle is immediately on the left right near the start of the crosswalk. There maybe 15-20 people waiting in line for the shuttle when I went. The shuttle stops at various spots along the way picking up a few locals. Right at the 50 minute mark the shuttle arrives at the spa. The rate is 1400 on weekdays and 1600 on weekends for the public spa. went on a Sunday afternoon and the ratio of locals was probably 2:8. The facilities were really nice. I haven't been to many spas but it seemed very well maintained. There are indoor and outdoor baths along with steam rooms. I'm not a spa connoiseur but as far as my experience goes I highly recommend the day trip here from Fukuoka. Also, make sure you get one of the yogurt drinks (250 yen) after the spa. They're really good!
We had a great experience! The staff was of course very friendly and polite. We went here on a Friday and still it was quite empty, so it was no problem to do whatever we liked. The baths were clean and nice. Especially the food is great and quite a decent price. People like me, who need to eat gluten-free will find something too. We also booked a body scrub which was worth every penny. All in all the day here was very amazing and we had no complaints at all!
Wonderful hot springs with a very relaxing environment. Lovely restaurant as well that has great seasonal options.
This is definitely an amazing onsen. It is well amalgamated in it natural countryside surroundings. I think this hot spring is historical, though I haven't probed into it. You must try the beef hot pot in the restaurant. It is sooooo yummy yet not expensive at all. Don't try the ganbanyoku (岩盤浴): for an extra 1,400, I think one will regret (that's me, indeed) it if tried.
