Beautiful cozy place, the food is great and you have a great variety of drinks. It's also really close to the station so you can't miss it!

Restaurant was very busy and would be good to have reservations but they let us wait and after about twenty minutes we got in. It was worth it! The okanomiyaki was very good and we really enjoyed the waitresses suggestion of the yakiimo with ume sauce (sweet potato with plum sauce). Also the fact that she was happy to give us her actual favorites which happened to be some of the less expensive things on the menu. Although we speak some Japanese it was still helpful that they had a full menu in English and were able to fill in the gaps in our Japanese with English without just switching which many natives would do. So if you want to get out of the super touristy areas for some great food I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, I was not welcomed here. It was a polite go away, but it was made clear no foreign guests allowed in. Didn’t even make it though the door before being shooed out.
