Quick and easy way to exchange a range of currencies. At the time when I exchanged dollars to yens, the official rate was 108.64. The machine exchange rate was 106.30 (-2.2%). That is not bad compared to other exchanges.

Great money exchange outside of Nishiki market entrance. Exchange rate is fair. At the time 107.76 was the official rate and the exchange was done at 104.76. 24 hours is a huge plus.

Best exchange rate in Tokyo. So glad that this was near our hotel. My wife and I got most of our yen from this machine. I believe for USD the exchange rate at the time was 106.5 - the highest I have seen.

All I can say is there was a 350 yen difference when I changed my 200 US dollars to samurai exchange. If you don’t want to lose money,then don’t use this machine. I learned my lesson the hard way.
