Delicious cafe and experience. At the cafe, all of the options are all delicious green tea savory and sweet dishes. Arrive early to avoid the wait. Also, a lot of the items are seasonal and changes every few months.

Worth queueing for. I’ve eaten a lot of matcha parfaits and this one was particularly delicious.
Tip 1 - put your name, go visit a couple of shrines or places of interest in the area, then come back in an hour. Your table should be ready by then. Tip 2 - Ask for the patio seating. Very nice during autumn time as you can view the garden while sipping hot green tea. Highly instagramable place and super duper popular with tourist. Place focuses more on their desserts (though they have some savoury stuff on the menu). Prices wise, it's fairly decent for a popular tourist area. Waitress are pretty good with English.
Date: 01/23/2017 It's a very relaxing place with very friendly staff and environment is soothing. Price is reasonable for tourists and the food is just amazing. You should definitely try its Matcha, which is a bit bitter and sweet at the same time, so it's perfectly balanced.
Be prepared for waiting for 30-60 mins, but you won’t be regretful after your order of Mocha dessert is served. I like the shaved ice with mocha and brown sugar, which is JPY980. Other types of mocha desserts are also amazing.
