Gyomu Supa (lit. \supermarket for professionals\) is a super-cheap place with a mostly unified selection, but there are differences between stores and this is one of the best ones. Besides the usual stuff, it also carries an unusually large selection of vegetables and fruits, and it has a mentionable deli section. As it was indeed originally meant for professionals like restaurants, you can get much larger packages of food here than in the regular supermarket (e.g. 5 kg spaghetti). If the ton of waste resulting from unnecessary packaging drives you crazy, too, this is a good place to stock up on basics like pasta, flour, sauces, miso and such.

Nice and super cheap supermarket in the town! The price is cheaper than most of the supermarket I've ever been. The minus part is they don't have a big variation of meats. They don't sell fresh fish, they only have frozen packed fish. Chicken, beef, and pork can be found here but not so many variation. If you are a fan of frozen food, you should visit this place since they have lot of those products.

My favourite local supermarket. Cheap and cheerful, popular with the local pensioners too. Closed for refurbishing until the end of january 2018.
