It's an amazing hostel close to the station. There are quite a few izakayas and a shopping mall nearby. The owner is very welcoming and friendly, and I felt at ease the moment I checked in. Breakfast was provided, together with free bottles of water in the fridge for our own usage. The public space was a cozy area, where u can use to relax and meet other people staying in the hostel. Definitely going back and worth staying!

Great place! Mon-chan (the member of staff present when I was there) is so helpful, kind and he also speaks good English. He’s full of good advice on the area. The place is clean, spacious enough (I don’t need much! I picked a bunk bed in the dorm) and the lounge and kitchen areas are sparkling. I recommend this hostel 100% (and chatting with Mon-chan, of course!)
We have happened to stay here for ten days as my friend needed to recover from an injured foot. We felt like at home ; the facilities are great ; some of the rooms have a beautiful views of the hill. The lounge is cozy and the kitchen very useful. There is a sento opposite of the guest house. But the best was definitely the staff. We got to know them a little and they have been super welcoming. Some of them have spent time outside Japan and the communication took a whole different level. They were able to give valuable cultural insights which are otherwise difficult to reach due to the reserved personality of Japanese folks. I recommend to spend time with them, you'll deepen your experience. It's also the most convenient place for those doing the Henro. Easy to reach from Osaka (via the cheap ferry). 50m away is the only sim card shop in town. Also, its conveniently located between temple 17 and 18 and if you have taken too much stuff with you, you can leave it at the guest house! The dormitory is on a floor separate from the common area so you don’t need to worry about noise (except for people who snore). The beds are comfortable and sheets smell and feel like they are freshly pressed. There are curtains for the bunk beds so you get also get a lot of privacy. The common area is lovely, perfect for working on a quick blog post before you head out to explore more.
It is such a warm place where you are welcomed with generosity and compassion. A place where you can feel that it is looked after by a wonderful soul. The stuff speaks well English and is a pleasure to talk to them. Further they are super helpful and accommodating. Really a great place to spend some time in.

個室を使わせていただきました。 綺麗にされていて、ぐっすり眠ることができました。 洗濯機、乾燥機あります。 自転車等は屋根下に置けるので安心です。 飲食街も近いです。 お勧めしていただいた飲み屋さんも美味しかった。またお世話になりたいと思います！
