Very cool cave. We enjoyed the 20 mi the walk thru. You definitely need to be able to stoop down and squeeze thru small spaces.

While the caves alone are amazing, it would be a waste if you missed the absolutely stunning places just across the street. Across the street from the limestone caves is an old park that leads into the ruins of the now defunct Buddhist theme park, Saikai Rakuen. In the middle of the forest, you'll find three golden statues sitting upon a small pond, and breathtaking views from high up. Additionally, the fields here are covered in flowers during late March and early April, as well as late October. If you come here, please don't miss out on all this area has to offer.

Cost 500yen. There is a very nice resting area at the entrance/exit. We went in the height of summer it was 37C outside and around 16C inside! I took a few photos. It is not the most spectacular cave you'll ever see but a nice experience.

Great family outing/adventure, however if you can't squat all the way down, or are a larger person, you are likely to have a hard time getting through.

It was nice but small and big tall ppl would have a hard time getting through it. I’m short and I had trouble. Seems like kids where the only ones who didn’t have a hard time.
