You need around 3 hours to enjoy the whole museum and there are many resting seats if you get tired. There are 4 floors of art to admire. The restaurant and video room are closed due the pandemic. But the museum shop is still open. I don't know on what depends but if you're a student you get to pay half the price or nothing at all! Ask in the information center, they can also speak English.

The museum is quite large, I think four levels of exhibits. Some of the MOMAT regular artworks were amazing. It's worth it to pay extra for the special exhibits they have on rotation. I don't know if they have any coin lockers, but beware that it will get really hot in there and you'll have to carry your coat. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed during New Years, so we didn't get to try.
This art museum was a pleasant spot to spend a couple hours and see a variety of modern art. The exhibit was interesting (added 1200 yen to usual entrance fee of 500 yen). It had nice views of the imperial gardens across the street. I appreciated the art descriptions in English.
Nice museum with interesting exhibitions. The staff is very friendly and everything is well organized. There is a discounted ticket available for students.
Really cool place. The exhibit that was booked for the evening was a lovely experience! Such incredible work and atmosphere, well worth the money for what you get for the price. Just check it out and see for yourself. Can’t say enough good things about this place :)
