We did the prebooking from Internet. Half day is not enough for this place. If your kid loved dinosaur, this is the best place to take them. Very informative and huge museum. We couldn’t finish the whole in just one visit so we have planned our next visit soon. Cafe is good, shop is also good.

before you go, you need to reserve to reserve in advanced. Went here to because of the anime collaboration. Overall it was fun.

You can study the history of Japan's nature. And you can meet HACHI, the most famous dog in Japan.

Great museum located off the Ueno train station. It's close to the Ueno zoo so not hard to find at all. The area blocks off all car traffic and is accessible by foot in a park. The entrance price was reasonable but due to Covid-19, you will have to reserve a predetermined time to visit through the website. Exhibits included dinosaurs, animals, agriculture, science, etc. Very kid and family friendly place with clean bathrooms and elevator access for every floor. Don't forget to bring your walking shoes because you'll be getting plenty of steps in.

The museum was huge, and it was really interesting! However, there are really still a lot of exhibitions closed. It’s better to check their website before visiting just to be sure!
