Cafe friends is decent and the facilities are dated but decent. But, the area was developed for the 1964 Olympics, so, expect things a bit dated. It is still pretty decent and a historical area in that sense.

Very interesting place and architecture! The view to Sinjuku is absolutely unique! A quiet place to be, near gardens, and still central Tokyo!

if you go from YOYOGI-HACHIMAN or YOYOGI-KOEN station, you'd better go along with the main street , not go inside the park. Since you cannnot go into the building behind of the building park side.
