The giant figure of that chef is rather... overwhelming, or even disturbing, should I say? I wonder whose idea it was. Anyway this store seems to be selling dining utensils. Again, I wonder if that scary face has much to do with cutlery.
We checked out 6 other stores before returning to Niimi to buy our Japanese Santuko knife. Why, because they explained the different steels, quslity and cost points in English with no pressure to buy. We had checked others price and they were about 20% cheaper than elsewhere but it is cash only.
