Beautiful place. I recommend visit this place during spring or summer because during winter you can't follow many ways for snow.

Soooo beautiful. Took around 30mins from Nikko station to reach this place, but it is amazing. Just breath-taking. Of course, you need to climb 1445 stairs for that, but it's soo worth the effort. The view midway is already great, but up top is incredible. Once you reach the top observation deck though, go a bit further pas the gate for an even better view. You can climb even more but the hike is steep and the trail is narrow, definitely not suitable for the city-shoes-wearing and souvenir-bag-carrying me.
Easy climb and great view make it well worth it
Such a beautiful and nice place here. For catching up with the last bus ,I couldn't go on the top of the Mt.Akanagisan. I took pictures around altitude 1550m here.
