This is where you take a ferry to Nokonoshima Island. But the ferry only run once an hour - better check and confirm the schedule when you plan the trip to Nokonoshima. The ferry ride take ard 10-15mins only. It costs 460 for a return trip. Or on busy days, I have seen a local \water taxi\ provider just located next to the entrance of the pier. Well, as it is available all time, it costs 500 for a single trip.

The single way fare for the ferry is 230. The pier has washroom, but it is always full. Comparing to other parts in Japan, the washrooms are not too clean.
能古島へのアクセスはここ。車輌、バイクや自転車も乗船可能。 立体駐車場が2つある。 定員OVERの時は臨時船が運航するが、30分後。 海からの福岡市の眺望が 能古島まで10分程度なので飽きずに航路を満喫できる。
バス停からすぐ、乗船もあっという間。、とても手際が良くて合理的。でも、レトロな温かみもある。 売店やコインロッカーもある。
能古島に行くならここからフェリーに乗りますが、絶対車ごとフェリーに乗船して渡った方がいいです。島に渡ったら交通機関がバス以外にはほとんどありません。能古島のバスは1時間に1本。タクシーは不定期営業の1台のみ。レンタサイクルは土日のみ。平日に行くのであればぜひ自家用車ごと島に行くのをオススメします。
