Very beautiful place to visit in autumn. Buses are not very frequent though, and you may have to wait a long time. Lots of bikers on the road, recommend getting the Norikura visitor pass

Very beautiful place far from tourist trap. Many small beautiful treks are available. Easy to go to Norikura submit from here too. Kamikochi and many beautiful natural onsen with nature view is accessable by bus from here too. I like this place very much. It is so beautiful that I forgot to take any picture.

Great place for hiking. There are several options for short and long hikes. We had the 2 day Matsumoto pass and visited Kamikochi on the first day and Norikura on the second one - very good combination.

青く広がる夏空と美しい山々。どこまでも澄み渡る冷たい川。そんな素晴らしい場所でした。夏の長野はやっぱり最高 上高地よりは激混みしていないので、ゆったりキャンプやレジャーを楽しむ場所としてはとても良いと思います。各場所に無料駐車場があります。
