Both as an inpatient and outpatient, I've used this hospital, known as, Northern Region Medical Association, when Google Translate is used. It is highly recommended for those with Japanese health insurance. Little English is spoken so, a non-Japanese speaking person, would need help translating. Facilities are excellent and the staff are all professional. Thursdays are quite busy and, long waits may be encountered.

I needed a PT-INR test (prothrombin time-International Ratio) because I take Warfarin/Coumadin. The process was quick because my Japanese wife could explain what I needed in Japanese. The only hitch, and reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, is the first time you use the hospital you must join, a 4,000 yen fee. The test itself was 3,700 yen. The concierge at our hotel found the hospital and confirmed the test could be done; also what the best time to go would be, and arranged a taxi. The check-in and paperwork went smoothly (all in Japanese), phlebotomist was skilful, the payment was quick by credit card and the results were emailed to me within several hours. Of course, the taxi round trip to the Terrace/Ritz-Carlton/Marriott hotels was almost as much as the total, and almost twice the cost of the test itself. I can't speak for the other facilities or services, but my experience was smooth and pleasant.
MRIを撮る為紹介状を持って行きました。２時間半待ってやっと呼ばれて「MRI予約でいっぱいだから来週来て」って。診察１０秒(笑) MRIやるのは最初から分かってるんだから、他にやり方ねーらんたんばぁ？？？ やしが、病院ってむるこんなよね⁉️患者第一の病院たーがら建てたら流行るのによ。
予約をしなくても、午前中早い時間に行けば意外と早く受診出来ます。
先生や看護師によりますが良い先生方が多い病院です。 特に院長先生はよく話を聞いてくれて診察してくれます。話しやすく信頼できる先生です。 救急や内科、外科などいろんな先生に診てもらいましたがどの先生も説明もわかりやすいし適切で安心できました。 看護師さんや受付の人はたまに態度がどうかな？と思う方がいましたが全体的に良いので気にしないようにしてます。病院自体はかなり古いです。
健康診断の予約で電話をしました。 10月希望だったんですが、空きがないと言うことだったので予約せずに「わかりました、ありがとうございます。」と切ろうとしたら、思いっきりガチャッ!!と切られました。 2度とかけたくない…
沖縄の他の病院より美味しい
乳腺外科におられる医師の方の対応が非常に良くなかったです。冷たい態度で説明も少なく目も合わせません。シビアな部分を扱ってるのにも関わらずあの対応でしたら他の方には違う病院をオススメします。
