Lovely colourful, old building that commands nice views across the harbour. It is up a slight hill, so if you have mobility issues please take that into account, though it is nothing too taxing. You're free to wander the halls and take in the pleasant interior. If I recall correctly, you are able to rent traditional Japanese clothing and pose for pictures on the balcony. Well worth a visit.

This is a grand and stately building. When I walked through this museum, I could imagine myself being a noblewoman in the early 20th century. In fact, you can even rent costumes and dress like a noble person and walk the building. The view from the balcony was very nice. I really enjoyed visiting this place.

Nice and beautiful place. Light-blue wall and yellow line, lovely colour combination. The main hall inside (2nd floor) is astonishing and the view from the balcony is amazing! The volunteer persons will explain the history and would help you to take a picture. I heard the place will be closed from October 2018 for 2 years for renovation. Better to check the website before you visit.

As of june 28, 2019, it is under repair. This is what it would look like if it wasn't covered in scaffolds and canvas. I would still recommend walking in the neighbourhood for the 3 churches, interesting architecture, and ice cream street.

Nice & quiet place, with a view to enjoy Japanese Hanami, away from the hordes of tourists

Strange feeling standing in front of this big mansion.

A gorgeous and well-kept old building! Explore the little rooms fit with the proper furniture and (for about 1000) you can cosplay in fashions from the era. There's a great outdoor view from the second floor. Not much else to do but take in the history - it's worth the view alone.
