It was excellent. The vinegar marinated cod was crispy and the flavour impeccable. The calorie counts on the menu are great for me as well. The spinach with sesame side was flavorful and not as calorific as I had expected!

Love this slimy "bakudan" which literally translates into "a bomb". Takes a bit of courage but so good. The restaurant was entirely automated.
No one spoke English. The tablet you order off of, even if you select the english option, has very little English. The people who worked there spoke very little English. But they REALLY tried to help. It was fun. Good food. Would try again.
Quick, easy and a wide variety of food. Really nice for groups or individuals. Only slight annoyance as a tourist who doesn't speak/read Japanese, the self checkout is quite confusing but the staff are very helpful.
This Ootoya is relatively new and the food served is of very good quality (apparently that is not a constant throughout the chain). Love it for my intermittent low carb fasting lunch at 3pm
