The powder was good on my visit. The mountain is small though. And there is no avoiding the congested beginner area between the ropeway's top station and the Horai summit area.

Very nice view but very crowded. Lift lines unacceptably long and most of them are closed at 15:00
The zipline was amazing. Good for foreigners too. The food options were good. Everything was a little expensive but it was worth it to be honest. So much to do and see here.
Beautiful scenery! Public transport from Kyōto Station: go to Shiga Station, then take direct bus to the Ropeway Station.
Very nice ski hill and beautiful views of lake Biwa.
