Parabola’s owner, Richard Dawson, is a wine lecturer at Academie du Vin and Le Cordon Bleu in Tokyo, Japan, and he has earned the Wine and Spirit Education Trust Diploma, demonstrating that he has the expertise to provide quality wine and beverage selections. Guests can purchase wines by the glass or by the bottle, which are served in decanters. In addition to wine, guests can choose from quality gins, whiskeys and other spirits. Parabola is located in the beautiful Art Silo building, which was designed by architect Nigel Coates. It was once an art museum, and now the restaurant features monthly art exhibits and live jazz performances.
