When I went in August of 2018 I honestly didn't have any set idea of what it was going to be like, but it ended up being a wonderful experience for me. Everyone there was extremely kind and they helped me learn what is like to live in a community that works all together, it sparked a great time of personal discovery and maturity for me. I recommend this place to anyone going to Japan at my hearts content. I can't wait to go back!

自然豊かな場所で平和とは何かを実践しようというコミュニティ。手作りの畑やピザ窯がある。近くには美しい滝を観れるスポットも！ This is the experimental community to think what is the peace. They have an original field and a handmade pizza oven. There is a beautiful waterfall near from their village.
持続可能な暮らしを実験するところとして、Steven Leeperを中心に「村」というコミュニティをつくろうとしている場所。NPO法人格を取得したり、家をリノベーションしたり、畑をはじめたりと徐々に形ができつつある。宿泊もできるので、非日常を味わいにくるのも楽しいかもしれない。
