Very nice experience buying a kitchen knife. The staff presents you knives corresponding to your needs and budget and discuss advantages and disadvantages. Also, all employees speak very well in english. I highly recommend it.

First of all the shop image is really nice compared to other shops in the area. The style and layout of the shop is clean and comfortable. The shop has hundreds of choices so its a bit overwhelming, but rest assured the staff will help you make the right choice. My sales associate KIM was very personable and she helped me make a good choice based on what she uses and what my needs were. They carry many hand made knifes and she explained why spending a little more on a good knife was the right choice. I bought a Kurosaki hand made knife and liked it so much I went back and bought 2 more. If you visit, ask for Kimi and surely you will have a great shopping experience.

Great experience, the staff was super helpful. We went in to buy 2 knives for friends back home and the staff helped us find good quality knives for our price point. They had Staff that spoke many languages and they were all super nice.

The customer care is awful. I bought a knife in this shop but when I opened the box at home there was a cheaper one inside instead of the one that I bought. BE CAREFUL! When I came back to the shop the day after they didn't even apologise for their mistake but they were suspicious about me. They agreed to give me the knife I paid for but they gave me the one in exposition without making any discount. They convinced me to buy their knife saying that I could get my tax refunded even if they knew I didn't have the requirement for it, I had to pay the full price tax included. There are many other knife shops in kappabashi Street, don't go to this one.

What an experience!! You step into the store and find a variety of high quality Japanese knives. Very knowledgeable, kind and friendly customer service in English! The store was filled with lots of customers from overseas. They help you finding the one YOU need. Purchasing knives had never been my thing but the whole experience with them was very pleasant and I'm super happy with my new sharp knives. I can't wait to go back to them!
