I'm a swede living in Tokyo and I must say that I didn't find the food here, besides the pickled herring and the meatballs, particularly Swedish at all. It felt more like a Japanese attempt of making some dishes that was inspired by Scandinavia, with the most obvious example being some strange cinnamon flavored pumpkin salad. This in itself isn't necessarily a bad thing though. However, the problem with this place was that the quality of the food wasn't particularly high and that most of the plates at the buffet was filled with food that didn't simply didn't look or taste particularly fresh.

Rare proper Swedish cuisine I. The heart of Tokyo. Considered the atmosphere, it's very reasonable even compared with those in Sweden
The decoration is definitely interesting and perhap not to all tastes Basically your meal revolves around the buffet selection and then some menu choices. We enjoyed the food and herring though the variety of herring choice a little limited. Akvavit choice fine and with wine/beer. Good with group of friends as each can enjoy at their own pace Notes. It can be quite a filling evening when combining the mix of meat, fish, bread and alcohol
I am Swedish and I can testify that yes, this is genuine Swedish food, although we usually only eat crayfish (kräftor) once a year. It was nice to find this restaurant with genuine Swedish food although the staff appeared to be all Japanese.

旦那とクリスマスに美味しいところいこうかと2人で探していたところ一休にて見つけ、予約＆来店。スウェーデン料理が食べられるとのことで二人ともどんな料理が出るのだろうとワクワクしてました 2人で主に美味しいねと食べていたのがニシンの甘酢漬け。６種類も味付けがあって、二人揃ってクリームチーズのせを気にいるといったかんじでした。 ザリガニも初めてたべましたが美味しかったです！泥臭いものなのかとおもってましたが全く泥臭くなかったので驚きました！剝く作業もはじめてだったので、ワクワクしながらむきむき楽しかったです（笑） ドリンクはアルコール飲みたい人と炭酸苦手な方以外はエルダーフラワージュース一択で良いかと。はじめては甘いのに食事中はさっぱりでちょうど良かったですヨ 本日のおすすめに関してですが、何度も来てる方ならオーダーありかな思いますが、初回は無しで良かったと思いました。なぜなら、料理の種類多すぎて、それだけでお腹いっぱいになっちゃいます…。後で本日のおすすめを頼もうとしてた旦那と二人で全部少しずつ制覇したら、お腹いっぱいになっちゃいましたwご自身のお腹と相談がよいかと！ 今回は冬期メニューのようでしたので、今度は夏場に来たいと思います。 ごちそうさまでした
