If you're not expecting it, this Michi no Eki is a bit strange. You pull in, the car park is huge and... is that a ferris wheel? Yes, yes it is. So anyway, the facilities aren't great but there's a few food stalls to make up for what the rest lacks and a fun park called Ai Land. It wasn't open when I turned up but if you wander past it there's some good coastal views to be had. All in all a fun little unexpected diversion
