Years ago this was our favorite, especially when I lived in nearby Hayama. We always ordered the Sag chicken with saffron rice. My husband asked for their curry today on his birthday so we ordered takeout. Today's saffron rice was white rice with a sprinkle of saffron. Totally different from before. Sag chicken was basically butter chicken with a sprinkle of sag , or spinach. Credit card machine didn't work or staff didn't know how to use it, so I had to run to the car to get cash. Very disappointed, won't be coming back. Sadly, this was the restaurant that made my husband love Indian curry.

とってもおいしいかった!! Excellent preparations of N. Indian/Kashmiri and southern Indian cuisine. The weekend/holiday special dosa thali lunch was outstanding. Diverse flavours and textures in the various dishes. Kashmiri cuisine is influenced by Persian and central Asian cuisine and is not very spicy. Southern Indian cuisine can be wonderfully spicy but includes not-spicy dishes for balance. Royal Parasol is one of the very few Indian restaurants in Kanto that also have raita (flavoured yogurt) on the menu – an essential cooling component of Indian subcontinental cuisine. Served by charming, gentle and kind spirited staff. There are several car parking spots. Reasonable prices, overall very good value. Even Indian, Pakistani and Kashmiri people living in Shonan/Miura recommend this place :-) Shukuriya! (シュクリヤ ありがと)
