I will never use a different charter while here on island. They are amazing! Always put us on great fish and everyone leaves with more than the coolers can hold! The Deckhands that I’ve had experiences with are really personable and I don’t think you could ask for better! Wya to go guys/gals!

This was a great charter fishing experience. The boat and captain are Japanese, while the deckhand is American military person. The communication from the office was awesome and the daylong fishing trip was extraordinary. We were on the water for about ten hours, and deckhand Michael worked super hard as the Mahi were hitting hard.

Went out on a day when the seas were extremely rough for the boat we had chartered. In my opinion, the crew should have canceled the charter. Sea state was so poor that a member of our party fractured two vertebrae in his back due to repeated slamming of the boat and there being zero seats onboard. We were also promised two hours of transit time to our intended fishing spot when in reality it took four hours to get to on the way out and three hours on the way back. By the time we got there everyone had pretty much lost their will to be there due to sea conditions and we only ended up fishing for approximately an hour. Lastly, the deck hand and captain had never worked together before. They were unable to communicate with one another. Overall, a pretty miserable experience that I will not repeat.

Was introduced to charter fishing using Salty Rods and will never go back. Sea conditions were too rough and choppy and many people became injured by the slamming of the waves against the boat. We were not giving any instructions ever. Spent 6 hours going out with about an hour and half of fishing then 5 hours back. A lot of people were sea sick and with too many hours in the sun just made for a miserable trip. Most of those with us said it was the worst fishing experience they had ever had out on a charter boat and stated that the crew did a poor job. After, Someone tried to discuss it with the owner but he couldn’t have cared less about everyone’s awful experience.

The charter was excellent! The captain certainly knew where to go and the guide was patient and kept everyone in his attention.

Been out on fishing charters a few times before and never had a more miserable time. It was a complete waste of time and money. If I spend money for fishing I expect to fish. Not sit on a boat for 6 hours trying to find a spot, fish for 2 hours then spend another 6 hours going back to dock. There are better choices for fishing charters on the island than this one.

Unreliable and unprofessional. Save your money and go elsewhere.
