Me and my friends visit here in lunch time. Nice place to hangout and have a fun time with friends or colleagues.
Foreigners are not welcome here. We were polite and tried to use the Japanese we knew and rely on translation apps to communicate what we didn’t know how to say, but he gave us a smug smile and said (in Japanese), “if you don’t speak Japanese, then thank you, goodbye.” I guess fluency is required to hit a ball.
I don't want to give any star to this place but minus and don't recommend anyone to go there if you are foreigners like us. Old man staff looked down to customers with anger eyes since we entered the area. And if you cannot speak Japanese, he might complained in Japanese and shout at you when you asked for where to buy ticket. (Unfortunately, I understood what he said) And others really rude manner during playing. Rarely found person with this manner in Japan.
Friendly staff and a good facility. Also, it's the Batting Center from Persona 5.
三軒茶屋駅からすぐ側の60年以上続くバッティングセンター。 知る人ぞ知るといった場所にあるため、そこまで混んでいない穴場スポット。 20球200円とリーズナブルな点が嬉しい。 たまに店主がバッティングを子供に指導している姿も見られる。 3レーンあり、それぞれ右打ち85キロ、右打ち95キロ、左右打ち100キロの球速で利用できる。
駅から3分くらい、肉のハナマサの隣にある怪しげな階段を上って屋上まで。いつ崩れるんだろう？ってくらい錆びた螺旋階段が毎度ドキドキする。ふきっさらしで打席は３つだけ。85キロ、90キロ、100キロで、100だけ左右打ち。20球で200円。ポイントカードがあって一回行くとスタンプを一個押してくれて、20個で1ゲーム無料。雨の日はポイント二倍(笑)
管理人さんの評判が悪いが、そこまで騒いで無ければ何も言われない。相当うるさかったのでしょうね‥85、95、100km/hの3種類とバリエーションに劣るものの、10円/球と都内ではかなりお得。
