Actually there is not any castle, it the ruined one as mentioned in the name. However, I can't give five stars for it as I have been in the some famous and original Castles in Japan such as Hyogo, Okayama, Kochi etc. If you want to see the castle please don't go there, but as it is literally higher than in the plane area, you can enjoy a beautiful city view from here. There is a big buddha statue you can see from here. I have gave three stars only for the city view.

A great place to visit, to learn about the former castle. The castle grounds is pretty as well with lots of paths and statues and monuments,.

It is a tourist attraction place. The view from the top is awesome. There is shopping area where you can enjoy Sendai’s popular deserts. There is a temple as well. You can get there by bus or by your car. Date Masamune’s statue is worth to see.

Pretty cool place to visit, about 1,500 yen taxi ride from Sendai station. I didn't realize there was no Castle! Just the two status. The museum is only Japanese, no English.
